Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Facility type: SNF Location: Fayetteville, NC 28306. Contract: 13 weeks Shift: Days (8am - 4:30pm) Start: TBD
Responsibilities:
- Performing clerical tasks such as answering telephones and scheduling appointments.
- Collecting, assessing, and recording required patient information such as medical history.
- Implementing treatment plans and helping patients perform therapeutic activities.
- Instructing patients and their families in the skills and techniques of a treatment program.
- Monitoring patients' performance and providing encouragement.
- Documenting patients' progress, attitudes, and behavior.
- Maintaining accurate patient treatment records.
Requirements:
- Must be certified as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
- BLS (AHA).
- Minimum 1 -2 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
