About the Position

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per day from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Call requirements of 7 days per month including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Weekend hours consist of on-call only
• No float requirements
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 13-bed operating room unit
• Work with adult patient population with minimal pediatric outpatient cases
• Operate advanced equipment including Robotics (DaVinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table
• Use Cerner electronic health record system
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with 1-2 years of surgical tech experience across multiple specialties preferred
• Ortho or neuro experience preferred
• Surgical Tech diploma or certification required
• Hospital-provided scrubs via scrub machine required; outside attire not laundered by hospital is not acceptable

This 355-bed Duke Lifepoint hospital is home to several specialized centers including a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, and Orthopedics department. The facility also houses General and Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, a Women's Center, and a Level 3 NICU. Additional features include a 32-bed emergency department, 29-bed inpatient rehab, a 15-bed surgical suite with imaging, and an 81-bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital on a separate campus.
