Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant at Exponential Health, you will be a crucial part of our clinical team, directly contributing to the exceptional care and experience we offer our members. In this role, you will support our providers in delivering top-tier medical services while ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of excellence that define our practice. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist our distinguished providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for our members.
• Meticulously prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and readiness with all necessary supplies.
• Accurately document patient vitals, medical histories, and other essential information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, upholding our commitment to precision and care.
• Administer injections, vaccinations, and medications with utmost care, following the physician's directives.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests, including phlebotomy, and ensure the proper handling and preparation of specimens for analysis.
• Educate and guide members on health management practices and medical procedures, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their care journey.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, manage referrals, and respond to member inquiries with efficiency and professionalism.
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations, protecting the privacy and trust of our members.
• Collaborate closely with the clinical team to continually elevate the member experience, providing personalized, compassionate care that aligns with our practice's ethos.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credentials.
• SPANISH SPEAKING preferred
• Proficient in EMR systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on delivering top-tier service.
• Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
• Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information, with a thorough understanding of HIPAA compliance.
