Data Engineer Position
Serve as a Data Engineer applying modern technology development principles, design concepts maintenance, and evaluation standards to generate state of-the art software in support of US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) tasks and objectives.
Lead the research and evaluation of new and emerging technologies to solve unprecedented or controversial data engineering problems with Army-wide impact.
Research the applicability of new technologies utilizing software technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Map Reduce, Spark, Kafka, Apache products, Mage, etc.
Operate as a senior consultant and subject matter expert to USASOC leadership and other subordinate organizations.
