Mug Shot Caffeine & Cocktails – Morehead City, NC
Mug Shot Caffeine & Cocktails is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team. We serve a creative mix of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items in a fast-paced, locally owned restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items accurately and consistently
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation
- Handle food safely and follow all sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Assist with prep, cleaning, receiving deliveries, and inventory organization
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Help maintain a positive and professional kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or commercial kitchen experience is preferred
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Food safety knowledge is a plus
