Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Badge Verification in Aurora IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols support access control and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility offices common areas parking areas and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials as directed and assist with maintaining controlled entry to restricted areas.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents observations and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
