Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen people and/or items, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support daily operations through clear communication, teamwork, and a caring, reliable, and innovative approach grounded in integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening procedures.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and other assigned locations to help support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to docks, trailer areas, and other logistics-related operations as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
