We are seeking a general Anesthesiologist to provide locum support. This site has a significant focus on obstetrics. Experience in OB is highly preferred. The Anesthesiologist will perform anesthesia for general and OB cases. Supervision of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) is required. The facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center. The provider ratio will be 1 MD to 4-5 CRNAs. The position involves overseeing general anesthesia as well as obstetric cases. The EMR system used is EPIC. Support staff includes both a CRNA team and an MD team. This role will include responsibilities for OB cases. There will be very little time spent in a running room independently. Credentialing typically takes 2-3 weeks after application completion. A clean malpractice record is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid state license.
