What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized pediatric emergency care in a busy, well-supported facility
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatric subspecialists and ED staff
• Participate in hospital rounds and oversee patient care in the pediatric, NICU, and PICU units
• Support the teaching of pediatric residents and medical students (if interested)
• Maintain accurate case logs and documentation for hospital cases
• Engage in continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Contribute to a family-centered, compassionate environment
• Respond to pediatric emergencies and provide critical care

What You Need

• Required: Active medical license in Nevada or ability to obtain one, Board Eligibility/Board Certification in Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine, recent inpatient hospitalist experience, ability to provide case logs upon interview
• Preferred: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years, strong teamwork skills, flexibility to start quickly

The 34-bed pediatric ward supports an average daily census of 24, with specialized units including a PICU and NICU, all staffed by dedicated subspecialists and support teams.
