Specialized Memory Care Companion & Administrative Assistant - Beverly Hills / Los Angeles

Make a meaningful impact supporting a vibrant 70-year-old woman living independently in Beverly Hills/Los Angeles with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. She values her independence, lifestyle, and connection to her community. We are seeking a warm, caring, dependable caregiver with excellent communication skills to provide companion care, administrative support, transportation, and choice-based memory care. Position Details Position: Part-Time Memory Care Companion / Administrative Assistant Location: Beverly Hills / Los Angeles Schedule: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 3 days per week Days: Monday–Friday, flexible on which 3 days Hours: 12 hours per week Pay: $19.00–$25.00/hour Training Rate: $19.00/hour during initial onboarding and training Client Care Rate: $23.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications Mileage: Mileage reimbursement provided for client transportation and outings What You’ll Do Provide warm, engaging companionship while supporting the client's independence and dignity. Encourage meaningful community activities based on the client's interests, such as museums, botanical gardens, flower markets, shopping, and local events. Use person-centered memory care techniques and structured choices to support independence and reduce confusion. Observe the client's routines, behavior, and overall well-being and communicate meaningful updates to family members. Safely transport and accompany the client to medical appointments, wellness visits, and memory care or cognitive activities. Assist with scheduling medical appointments, pharmacy refills, calendars, and daily task lists. Assist with grocery shopping, errands, picking up flowers or supplies, and light household organization. Maintain a consistent and dependable schedule. Requirements Warm, caring, empathetic, and dependable personality. Excellent communication and organizational skills. At least 1 year of Alzheimer’s/dementia or memory care experience , OR current enrollment in a degree program in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or Gerontology . Experience or familiarity with accompanying clients to appointments and community activities. Ability to provide person-centered care using redirection, visual cues, and choice-based communication. Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration OR willingness to complete HCA registration. Valid California Driver’s License. Clean driving record; DMV check required. Reliable personal vehicle and current auto insurance. Willingness to transport the client in your personal vehicle. Ability to pass a background check/Live Scan. Current CPR/First Aid certification. Current TB clearance. Who Would Be a Great Fit?
