Energy Auditor

Our client is seeking an Energy Auditor in Springfield, MA. This is a 12+month contract and in the field 3 days per week.
As an Energy Auditor you will be inspecting energy efficiency projects incentivized to ensure complete and thorough projects have been installed for our customers. At these inspections you’ll also take the opportunity to screen customers for additional energy savings measures they may have yet to take advantage of.
This is a hybrid role include office time and on-site visits. The first three months are full-time in the office/ on-site visits. On-site visits will be through Connecticut.
Typical task breakdown:
• Conduct inspections and energy audits for C&I customers to ensure the correct installation of any current projects and identify additional energy savings opportunities for the customer.
• Demonstrate knowledge of complex building mechanical systems including boilers, chillers, energy management systems, and other equipment.
• Accurately collect any customer feedback and ensure that customer complaints follow any necessary investigative procedures.
Education & Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Preferred: Degree in chemical, electrical, energy, mechanical, or industrial engineering or in environmental science
