Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Job Description
Join a dedicated team in the Cath Lab, where you will utilize your skills and experience to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing critical cardiac procedures. The unit consists of 2 labs, performing an average of 10 cases daily using advanced GE x-ray equipment. You will be responsible for administering emergency medications and assisting with procedures such as LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and follow-through of catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and administer emergency medications as needed.
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
- Participate in scheduled calls and weekend coverage as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license.
- Prior experience in a Cath Lab setting is required.
- Knowledge of advanced emergency medication protocols.
- Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
