Moraga Post Acute is hiring a Dietary Aide to join our dedicated team! If you're dependable, friendly, and enjoy helping others, this is a great opportunity to work in a rewarding healthcare environment.
As a Dietary Aide, you'll help ensure our residents receive nutritious meals and excellent service while supporting the daily operations of our dietary department.
What You'll Do
- Assist with meal preparation, tray setup, and meal service.
- Deliver meals, snacks, and beverages to residents.
- Assist residents with feeding as assigned and trained.
- Follow dietary requirements and portion control guidelines.
- Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Stock and organize food and dietary supplies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
- Provide friendly, respectful service to residents and staff.
- Assist with special events and holiday meals as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous food service, hospitality, dietary, or healthcare experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Food safety/handling knowledge preferred.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well in a team and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
- Compassionate and respectful when working with residents.
