Job Description:This position is part of our Safety Business Unit, which aims to enable safer, greener and more inclusive industries and transportation systems.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesCarrying out and coordinating development work for systems/modules/subsystems with a focus on creating technical data, including defining and validating the contents of manualsCreating drawings or data sets, preparing or merging documentation, and coordinating technical solutions with otherdepartmentsContact person for all technical data in the area of responsibility. Processing and safety assessment of customer inquiriesOptimizing and further developing solutions, i.e. analyzing previous designs and developing alternative solutions, including evaluating the various alternativesProactively identifying, reducing and tracking blocking points as well as constantly evaluating the technical data and the contents of manuals with a view to quality assuranceInterface between technical data, airline customers, internal Airbus employees (e.g. design office, programs, delivery centers, other customer service units, etc.), and external interfacesTaking on functional and/or project-related tasks in projects (e. g. technical project planning, topic responsibility). Participation in internal, external and transnational projects to improve our products and processesParticipation in the preparation of offers and company presentationsPreparation of required documentation and presentations of work resultsRequired qualificationsThe work task requires knowledge and skills, as can usually be achieved through a relevant, completed course of study with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and related subject-specific additional qualifications or completed vocational training with a corresponding, particularly extensive, subject-specific additional qualification.The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways.Desired skills and competencesKnowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibilityWorking experience as an Technical Data Engineer or a similar rolePrevious experience working in direct contact with the customer and with tight deadlines is a plusProfound knowledge of various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, such as Phyton, 3D tools (e.g. CATIA, 3D Juump) is a plusExcellent analytical and structured working skillsYou are flexible to adapt your daily work in order to answer customer or organisational requestsAs an open-minded person you are confident in challenging existing practices and implementing improvementsYou are a good team player and teamwork is very important for youWorking in an international and multicultural environment is inspiring for youAccurate, transparent and clear project status reportsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams andstakeholdersLanguage skills: English and German fluent (at least language level B2)Willingness to travel domestically and abroadThis activity requires an awareness of possible compliance risks and behavior with integrity.
