NURSERY ATTENDANT

Nursery Attendant

The nursery attendant supervises children and their activities from ages 8 weeks to 14 years at Carilion Wellness facilities.

• Ensures children's safety and well-being in the nursery, playland, and youth areas at all times.
• Enforces the child sick policy and other policies while utilizing the nursery.
• Maintain nursery bathroom neat and clean.
• Watch the children and their activities at all times.
• Contact parent if child's diaper needs to be changed.
• Ensures safety with the toys, books, etc.
• Keep nursery neat and clean.

Education: Minimum two years high school education. Work permit required if under 18 years of age. Experience: none Licensure/Certification: AHA BLS-HCP certification is required (adult and infant/child).

Compensation Range: $13.00 - $18.00

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
