What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality postpartum nursing care for mother and newborns
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and family support
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IV starts
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and communication
• Float to similar acuity units as needed, based on staffing demands
• Educate new mothers on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and infant safety
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout your shift

What You Need:

• Active RN license in Ohio or valid state license
• Minimum 2 years postpartum nursing experience
• BLS certification, IV certification, IV start skills
• Experience with labor & delivery unit preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment:

This opportunity is at a leading facility in Columbus, Ohio, providing excellent postpartum and mother-baby care. The unit cares for new mothers and their newborns, offering a supportive environment for experienced postpartum RNs. Shifts are scheduled at night, with a three-day workweek, providing a great balance of work and personal time.
