Job Title: Truss Builder - 1st Shift
Location: Wadena, MN
Compensation: $19.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Truss Builder workers for a building materials manufacturing company in Wadena, MN. In this role, you'll help assemble structural components used in construction while working in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. If you enjoy physical, fast-paced work and want consistent hours with weekly pay, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do as a Truss Builder:

• Assemble wood components by placing parts in the correct position
• Use tools to bolt, screw, clip, or fasten materials together
• Cut materials to precise measurements using hand tools or machines
• Inspect and remove defective products to maintain quality standards
• Operate and tend machines used in assembly and fastening processes
• Move between workstations based on production needs
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas following safety guidelines

What You Need to Bring to the Truss Builder Role:

• Previous carpentry or construction experience is helpful but not required
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience
• Ability to read basic instructions and follow work direction
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally (with or without accommodations)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing tasks
• Reliable transportation to the Wadena area
