Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Gloucester MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic tech location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post offering variety throughout your shift while supporting daily operations with teamwork integrity and a people-first approach.

What Youll Do:

Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings offices parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points verify access permissions as directed by site procedures and support visitor management and badge-check processes.
Communicate with site personnel supervisors and/or first responders regarding incidents maintenance concerns and other security-related matters that may affect daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
