Environmental Services Technician

The Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within healthcare facilities. This position ensures that all patient care areas, public spaces, and support areas meet rigorous cleanliness standards to prevent the spread of infections and promote overall patient and staff safety. The EVS Tech collaborates closely with clinical and administrative teams to support infection control protocols and regulatory compliance. Through diligent cleaning, waste management, and equipment maintenance, the EVS Tech contributes directly to the quality of care and patient satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in environmental services or custodial work, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the appropriate department promptly.
