Job Title: Interventional Radiology RN Profession: RN Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Experience: 3 years Med/Surg and 1 or more years of Critical Care (ICU or ED) License: Current/Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse License Certifications: Current AHA ACLS and BLS Must-Have: - Moderate Sedation - IV access Description: The Interventional Radiology department delivers a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat various conditions. The nursing team plays a vital role in patient preparation, procedural support, conscious sedation, and post-procedure recovery. Team members work closely with Interventional Radiologists and Technologists. The department has a fast-paced environment with a high patient volume. Teamwork, critical thinking, and compassionate care are emphasized across diverse clinical cases. Clinician to patient ratio is 1:1. The bed count is 358. The EMR charting system used is EPIC. Floating and rotating shifts are not required.
