Material Handler – 1st Shift
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler for a first shift opportunity working Monday through Friday from 7:00am–3:30pm, with overtime available as needed. This is a direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of recent forklift and material handling experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong attendance, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and productivity. In-house forklift certification will be provided on the first day of employment. This facility uses sit-down propane forklifts only.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep production machines continuously supplied with stock material
- Read and follow shipping and production instructions accurately
- Move finished goods throughout the warehouse using sit-down forklifts
- Double stack materials and reorganize inventory to maximize warehouse space
- Remove scrap pallets and unusable materials from production areas
- Transport scrap materials to designated hold or disposal areas
- Operate stretch wrap equipment and assist with general warehouse cleanup
- Support shipping and production flow to maintain operational efficiency
Qualified candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently once trained. All viable candidates will participate in an in-person interview process.
