About the Opportunity

FranPartners is recruiting on behalf of a growing, nationally franchised home services brand operating in the greater St. Louis market. The business is past launch stage and scaling, with multiple territories and a growing field team. We are looking for a self-sufficient General Manager to own the day to day and drive local growth.

The owner is not in the business full time, so this role carries real autonomy and real accountability. It is a fit for someone who wants to run a business unit, not just supervise one.

Overview

The General Manager owns daily operations, leads and develops the technician team, and drives local sales. This person is the face of the brand in the market and is accountable for hitting defined performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Own daily operations including scheduling, routing, crew dispatch, and field support
• Lead, train, and hold accountable a small team of field technicians
• Generate new business through local networking, residential sales, and B2B outreach
• Create and send estimates, run walk throughs, and close deals with prospective customers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers with fast, friendly communication
• Build long term relationships with homeowners, realtors, and local business owners
• Own and report on weekly performance metrics including revenue, close rate, and job completion
• Participate in marketing opportunities and attend local networking events
• Step in on job sites as needed to protect quality and reliability
• Monitor job quality, inventory, and safety standards
• Operate independently and escape to ownership only when needed

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven sales ability in residential and/or local service environments
• Self-directed with strong time-management skills; comfortable working independently and taking initiative without daily direction
• Track record of hitting and reporting against defined KPIs
• Strong communication and people skills
• Proficiency in the use of a personal computer
• Capacity to leverage basic software programs
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Leadership mindset with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold a team accountable
• Willingness to assist on job sites when needed (climb ladders, lift up to 40 lbs)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Requirements

• Consistent full-time availability, including flexibility during peak season
• Must wear a company uniform while on duty
• Active engagement in the St. Louis community

Compensation

• $70,000 to $110,000 earning potential (base salary plus commission)
