Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position requires operating a cherry picker forklift and safely riding the platform at elevated heights while wearing a required safety harness. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working at heights and maintaining high accuracy standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a cherry picker forklift to pick and stock products in high racking systems
Stand and ride on the cherry picker platform while secured with a safety harness
Retrieve inventory from elevated locations (2030+ feet high)
Use RF scanners to pick, scan, and verify orders
Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections
Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations at all times
Assist with general warehouse duties such as packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications
Minimum 12 years of cherry picker forklift experience (required)
Experience working at elevated heights with required fall protection equipment (required)
Forklift certification (preferred)
RF scanner experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable and punctual
Work Environment
Warehouse setting
Standing for extended periods
Working at elevated heights while secured with a safety harness
