School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Las Vegas, NV

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Las Vegas area as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a school-based setting. This temporary, full‑time assignment will run from August 10, 2026, through October 12, 2026, with mandatory training sessions on the afternoon of August 4 and the morning of August 7. Serving as a 1:1 nurse, you'll work closely with a student requiring assistance with a tracheostomy and, ideally, have familiarity with GT feeds. Assignments will be on‑site only; remote or hybrid options are not available. Ideal candidates bring a compassionate, patient‑focused approach and experience with specialized pediatric procedures. Roles involve serving in various school locations near major Las Vegas corridors between Flamingo and Boulder Highway up to Henderson. Assignment details about the specific school or caseload will be determined prior to start. Desired Qualifications: Current, active LPN license Valid CPR/BLS certification Experience with tracheostomy care required; GT feed experience a plus Previous school‑based or pediatric nursing experience preferred Ability to provide updated resume, LPN license info, a picture of drivers license, and candidate email address Core Responsibilities: Deliver individualized health support and monitoring for 1:1 student care Perform trach care, GT feedings, and related medical procedures competently Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for students Follow all district policies and procedures with professionalism Participate actively in mandatory training ahead of assignment start District fingerprinting and credentialing will be facilitated for selected candidates.
