Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Emergency Room setting required. License: Compact or state license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS. Must-Have: - Candidates must have 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting. - Required certifications include NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. - No trauma level one experience necessary. - Travel experience preferred, but not mandatory. - Must comply with required vaccines, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons. Description: Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in an Emergency Room setting. BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications are required. Experience in a trauma level one facility is not necessary. Travel experience is preferred but not a requirement. Requests for time off longer than one week will not be approved unless under special circumstances. Local candidates residing within 100 miles will not be accepted. Candidates may float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility nearby. Modules will be completed during orientation and annually, varying by specialty. Candidates must be aware of any previous employment at the facility to confirm rehire eligibility. Rehire eligibility will be checked regularly, and issues may lead to cancellation post-offer. It is essential to ensure that submission reflects no licensure hits, or the submission will be rejected. All compliance and certification requirements must be met. Candidates must be prepared to manage a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily patient census averages 90, with about 250 visits per day.
