Job Full Description

Summary: Fabricates and assembles custom products with plastic materials, components, and piping by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Always meet or exceed our customer's needs and requirements.

Read and understand drawings and design documents.

Use established techniques to weld, cut, form, and shape plastic materials.

Utilize tools such as fusion welders, hot gas welding guns & extrusion welding guns to complete assembly.

Fit and assemble components accurately and thoroughly per drawing requirements.

Operate machines such as butt-welders and saws to cut and shape components to specified dimensions.

Accurately document all materials and labor hours required per project, and complete all additional paperwork as needed.

Generate suggestions for innovating work processes, procedures, capabilities, etc.

Monitor own work to ensure quality and look for ways to improve and promote quality.

Use equipment and materials properly while observing safety and security procedures.

Support other team members during offsite field work, as needed.

Education/Experience:


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Math Ability:


Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
