Technica is seeking to hire a Warehouse Stock Clerk to support missions at DLA NASTwo shifts available:Day shift: 6am -2:30pmNight shift: 3pm-11:30pmPosition Summary:Receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse or storage yardCounts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoiceExamines stock to verify conformance to specificationsStores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type of materialFills orders or issues supplies from stockPrepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stockRequisitions articles to fill incoming ordersCompiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipmentsMay mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articlesMay distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issuedMay make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stockMay cut stock to site to fill orderEnsures that all duties are in accordance with the established regulations and operating proceduresProvides advice and assistance on unusual and difficult problems; and reviews work on a spot check basisReviews overall operations for status and progress, causes of delays and other problems that affect or hinder timely completion of the work being performedPerforms some duties in an office environment with normal office equipment and other duties in and around a warehouse environment or exterior storage areasMaybe required to perform duties in adverse weather conditions, as well as in the field locations or storage area consisting of dusty, dirty and possibly hazardous materials exposureRequirements:The candidate must be extremely customer focused and capable of short range planning, analysis, and the ability to understand the overall mission and also have the following additional requirements traits:A basic working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelinesAn understanding of the needs of the organizations serviced and the overall mission concerns of those unitsMust have some experience in and with military supply and logistics systems or the civilian equivalency.Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, snow, and sleetMust be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishMust have a high school diploma or equivalentMust have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work  methods, manuals, and other established guidelinesMust complete or able to complete HAZWOPPER training within 30 days of employmentMust be able to lift 40 LBS and push/pull up to 250 LBS with proper equipmentHAZMAT experience preferredQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent18 years of ageValid state driver's licenseMust be able to operate a Fork Lift and man lift MHE such as a stock selectorMust be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility (requires proof of citizenship- examples: Real ID issued from DMV, Passport, Birth Certificate, and/or Social Security card)Demonstrated knowledge to operate and perform required duties utilizing Logistics Information Systems (LIS)Must be able to operate normally approved office computer automation equipment to include Hand Held scanning devises. Must have and can demonstrate the ability to type a minimum of 25 wpm on normal business automation equipmentAbility to understand and use safety items and personal protective equipment (PPE) that is mandatory and actively supports the EHS safety program  Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
