We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations for a leading manufacturer of food flavors and colors.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and review/correct employee timecards.
• Assist with recruiting, job postings, resume reviews, and interview scheduling.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientations.
• Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HRIS information.
• Manage temporary employee information and submit weekly timesheets to staffing agencies.
• Assist with benefits administration, enrollments, changes, billing, and COBRA.
• Support compliance with employment laws and regulations, including OSHA, EEO, Workers’ Compensation, and FMLA.
• Maintain accurate I-9, attendance, vacation, payroll, benefits, and training records.
• Conduct required employee training and maintain training documentation.
• Assist with employee relations, questions, and conflict resolution.
• Support HR projects and prepare data/reports as needed.
• Stay current with employment laws and company HR policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of HR experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or Assistant HR Manager.
• Payroll processing experience required.
• Experience with HRIS systems and applicant sourcing/job boards.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
• Experience with benefits administration and employee onboarding.
• Strong organizational, communication, computer, and data-entry skills.
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Must have Previous Warehouse experience
