St. Tammany Eye Care is seeking a dependable, professional Ophthalmic Assistant to join our clinical team.

Previous optometry, ophthalmology, or medical experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Duties may include:

• Visual acuity and preliminary testing
• Autorefraction, lensometry, and tonometry
• OCT, visual fields, fundus imaging, and other diagnostic testing
• Assisting with contact lens training and inventory
• Maintaining exam rooms and clinical equipment
• Supporting doctors and other clinical team members

Full Time Position Monday-Friday- NO Weekends

Competitive hourly pay + quarterly bonus capabilities based on experience.
