Commercial Construction Project Manager A well-established commercial general contractor in South Jersey is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This role will manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with clients, architects, subcontractors, and field teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, education, and other commercial construction projects , with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining budget, schedule, and quality expectations. Responsibilities Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors Review plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation Work closely with Superintendents to coordinate field operations and resolve project issues Monitor project costs and schedules to ensure projects remain on track Assist with subcontractor selection, buyout, and contract negotiations Coordinate inspections, punch lists, commissioning, and project closeout Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications 10+ years of commercial construction Project Management experience Commercial GC experience strongly preferred Experience managing healthcare and/or education construction projects highly preferred Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans and specifications Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred Project Types Healthcare, education, retail, office, multifamily, mixed-use, institutional, and interior renovation projects.
