Fabrication Specialist

Insight Global is hiring a Fabrication Specialist to support a manufacturing client in the Richmond, VA area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools, machinery, and building high-quality products in a production environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Fabricate parts and assemblies based on engineering drawings and production standards
• Set up and lay out work using fixtures, guides, and appropriate tools
• Operate fabrication equipment such as drills, presses, saws, grinders, and bending machines
• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and support process improvements
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working in fabrication, manufacturing, or a related hands-on environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with shop tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications
• Experience with machining, welding, or CNC equipment is a plus

Additional details:

• Position is fully on-site
• 2nd Shift: Hours are 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
• Contract-to-hire opportunity; contract length is 6 months
