(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary What you’ll do: Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Operate a forklift safely to pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Carry out tasks, communicate progress, and determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities, adapting to and learning from change, difficulty, and feedback. Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow per company policy and equipment usage. Merchandising: work inventory exceptions, correct shelf capacities, and complete required paperwork and logs. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, guiding and supporting self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials responsibly, following steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation, zoning the area, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up cleaning, and organizing product displays. Process defective merchandise, monitor shrink, security risks, and safety. Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking, staging, and auditing accuracy. Manage inventory, handle moves, display goods safely, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, control shrinkage, report poor inventory practices, and use inventory tools and equipment safely. Operate and maintain forklifts safely, report conditions or unsafe practices, and communicate with management when forklifts are not in proper working order. Proactively identify customers, engage them, assist with technology services and items, model technology services, identify shrink opportunities, maintain equipment, and promptly fix problems.
