Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver crisis stabilization care to individuals in acute mental health situations.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation following organizational policies.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to support clients effectively.
• Engage with clients positively, fostering a supportive environment.
• Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Collaborate professionally with patients, team members, healthcare providers, and external agencies.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Preferred: Two or more years of professional experience in mental health services, crisis response, or related fields.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by orientation completion.
• Successful completion of background checks including KBI, DCF, child and adult abuse registries, and motor vehicle screening.
• If driving is required, a valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements are necessary.

Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with community mental health services.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities.
• Effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements

This position involves light work, occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds and frequently up to 10 pounds, with 11-25% of the day spent standing or walking. Accommodations are available as needed.
