Shift Leader

Shift Leader Pay: $18.50/hour Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule: Opening shifts beginning at 6:00 AM or closing shifts ending at approximately 11:30 PM Position Overview We are looking for dependable, motivated, and hardworking individuals to join our Chick-fil-A leadership team as Shift Leaders! In this role, you will be responsible for leading team members, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, and maintaining high standards of guest service, food quality, and cleanliness. Shift Leaders are expected to lead by example, support both Front of House and Back of House operations, and make decisions based on the needs of the business. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a willingness to step into any area of the restaurant to support the team and ensure a successful shift. Key Responsibilities Lead and support team members throughout daily restaurant operations. Ensure excellent guest service, food quality, speed of service, and restaurant cleanliness. Oversee shift operations, delegate responsibilities, and ensure team members are performing their assigned duties effectively. Work in both Front of House and Back of House positions as needed, including guest service, order fulfillment, food preparation, and kitchen operations. Assist with opening or closing procedures, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Maintain Chick-fil-A's standards for food safety, hospitality, and operational excellence. Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Communicate effectively with fellow leaders and restaurant management to address operational needs and challenges. Qualifications Strong leadership skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent guest service. Dependable, punctual, and able to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure. Willingness to take ownership of shift operations and hold team members accountable to restaurant standards. Ability and willingness to learn and perform all necessary Front of House and Back of House responsibilities. Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred. Scheduling & Availability Full-time and part-time positions are available, with schedules determined by restaurant needs and individual availability. Opening or Closing Availability REQUIRED: All Shift Leaders must be available to work shifts that either begin at 6:00 AM for opening or continue through closing at approximately 11:30 PM. Every scheduled shift will require availability for one of these two time frames. Mid-shift-only availability does not meet the requirements of this position. Front of House & Back of House Flexibility REQUIRED: Shift Leaders must be willing and able to work in BOTH Front of House and Back of House. Position assignments will be determined strictly by business needs, not individual preference. Shift Leaders are expected to support and lead in whichever area of the restaurant they are assigned.
