Our office in Falls Church, VA has an immediate opening for a Senior Facilities Technician reporting to the Facilities Director; this is a non-exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position. Primary responsibilities:

• Responsible for the routine building maintenance including but not limited to minor drywall patching and paint, touch up of walls, hanging of pictures/whiteboards/bulletin boards, spot cleaning of carpets, caulking, replacing ceiling tiles, installing light bulbs, changing ballasts, basic plumbing (cleaning drains, replacing faucets/toilets).
• Maintaining stock rooms, receiving shipments, stocking shelves, rotating stock, removing trash, general upkeep of the office spaces.
• Responsible for maintaining the office space to include: spot cleaning carpets, painting marred walls. Assembling furniture and distributing the furniture to offices for setup.
• Provide maintenance and repair services.
• Assist in Government property inventory processes
• Assist in the upkeep, monitoring, and implementation of the corporation's safety requirements
• Additional duties as assigned

Experiences and Background We Look For:

• High School Diploma; 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance or currently have an active Top-Secret Clearance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• The employee must frequently grasp, lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
