Palestine Regional Medical Center Job Description Responsibilities Responsible for effective nutritional assessment and charting of patients. Responsible for completion of ordered diet consults. Responsible for reviewing and updating patient education materials, diet manual, patient menus, etc., as needed. Responsible for monitoring and/or managing tube feedings as ordered by physician. Conducts educational in-services for hospital staff as necessary or as assigned. Provides nutrition education to medical staff, patients, clinical students and other hospital personnel. Responsible for enforcing policies and procedures regarding safe food handling. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent. Previous hospital experience preferred. Registered Dietitian with American Dietetic Association preferred; Licensed Dietitian with the State of Texas required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
