Job Details Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown / PCU Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 Shift: 12-hour nights Shifts Per Week: 3 Hours Per Week: 36 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Start Date: October 5, 2026 Weekend Coverage: Every other/third weekend required Floating: Required within the organization as needed Setting: Mixed-acuity adult stepdown unit Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required Active compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of submission BLS and ACLS required Experience with charting systems required ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program preferred Strong cardiac stepdown , telemetry , and PCU experience preferred Ability to work nights, weekends, and float as needed Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a stepdown setting Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition promptly Manage central lines, arterial lines, IV therapy, and blood product administration as indicated Administer medications and titrate therapies per protocol Support patients with complex diagnoses and post-surgical care needs Perform wound care, drain management, and other specialized bedside interventions Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response, and physical therapy Maintain accurate documentation and follow all unit and safety protocols Apply now to join a rewarding travel nursing opportunity in Columbus, Ohio and make an impact in a fast-paced cardiac stepdown unit.
