MATERIAL HANDLER

MATERIAL HANDLER position available at a 40,000sf non-climate controlled manufacturing warehouse with approx. 30 employees producing urethane parts from raw materials. The Material Handler will perform daily preparation of raw materials for production while utilizing proper safety, storage, labeling, and handling techniques.JOB DUTIES:Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in the appropriate work stations and stocking locations.Prepares materials, tooling, and supplies as listed on production ordersEnsures timely preparation and delivery of material and tools to work stations to avoid production delaysDocuments materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of unitsEnsure that all work stations and storage areas are clean, stocked, and properly organizedFollow proper storage and handling policies and FIFO (first in – first out) for all materialRestock and dispose of empty drums and pails appropriately per policyPerform weekly inventory for materials and suppliesOperate forklift to transport material and/or parts to and from work stations and storage locationsOther Duties as assigned and/or neededREQUIREMENTS:Excellent AttendanceWarehouse/Manufacturing experience preferredBasic math skillsAbility to follow production scheduleLift/Carry up to 50 lbsWalk, Stand, Stoop, Bend for 8-10 hours/dayMust be able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouseExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFollow proper safety guidelines & proceduresExcellent AttendanceReliable transportationHigh School diploma or equivalentPre-employment drug and background screeningHOURS:Monday – Thursday: 5:00am to 4:30pmFriday: As needed – Must be available to work FridayJob Type: Full-timeADDITIONAL BENEFITS AS AN COLSON GROUP EMPLOYEE AFTER PROBATIONARY PERIOD(Additional probation period may apply to some benefits):Health, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Vacation and HolidaysCash Bonuses for PerformanceYou should be proficient in:Warehouse Experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
