Security Scheduling Coordinator - Night Shifts Guardian Security Services is hiring a full-time Security Scheduling Coordinator for night shifts (Thursday through Sunday, 11:30 pm to 7:30 am) at an hourly rate of $19.00. The position is located in Blue Island, IL. About the role: The coordinator works in the Client Service Center (CSC) and manages incoming calls, schedules, and call‑offs for security officers. The role requires strong customer service, telephone etiquette, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills. Responsibilities Provide customer service and public relations skills when interacting with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds. Support the Operations team with administrative tasks. Take direction from Operations managers to determine service requirements that meet contractual obligations with clients. Coordinate services and operational/admin support needs. Use scheduling software (e.g., WinTeam) to track employee schedules and fill open positions due to call‑offs or additional coverage requests. Troubleshoot emerging client service issues. Collaborate with personnel and Operations managers to meet deadlines and stay within scope of work. Ensure clients receive the best possible service. Direct or route calls to the appropriate department or personal voicemail. Perform duties using Windows‑based programs and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, email). Multi‑task during the work shift. Willingly work weekends, holidays, and cover additional shifts as needed. Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Prior supervisory experience in the security industry or a related field. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to handle all situations and make quick decisions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Availability to work various shifts, including weekends, weekdays, and holidays. Schedule 8‑hour shift.
