Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, reviewing patient histories and performing specific assessments to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and collaboratively set goals with patients and their families.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols based on assessment results, adapting approaches to meet the evolving needs of each patient.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining a clear record of the patient's progress.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, consulting with other healthcare professionals as required to optimize patient care.
• Participate actively in discharge planning and follow-up process, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of care.
• Contribute to departmental goals by meeting productivity expectations while promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Take initiative in pursuing continuing education and training, integrating new knowledge into practice and mentoring less experienced staff.
• Support community engagement efforts by participating in outreach programs and marketing activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult patients recovering from a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and degenerative disorders. We prioritize patient-centered care, focusing on individual needs to deliver an exceptional therapeutic experience that supports their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida is required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients and families.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is advantageous but not mandatory as we welcome recent graduates.
• Experience in using electronic health record systems and physical therapy software.
• A keen interest in continuous education and professional development in the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
