Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this individual contributor will serve as an essential project management and execution engine across a wide variety of marketing initiatives. The position is highly hands-on and tactical, designed for an energetic, organized "sponge" who is eager to learn, wear multiple hats, and take daily operational work off the leadership team's plate. For a high-performing candidate who demonstrates a bias for action and a passion for B2B communications, there is a distinct path for this contract role to convert into a permanent, full-time position. Responsibilities Project Management & Organization: Serve as the central coordinator for over 25 concurrent marketing projects and campaigns-including membership launches, event rollouts, and agency deliverables-tracking timelines and ensuring no deliverables fall through the cracks. Podcast & Agency Coordination: Oversee the operational workflow for the association's podcast series and agency partners, coordinating inputs, assets, and reviews for short-form video clips and social deliverables. Email Drafts & Coordination: Draft initial copy and coordinate content inputs with internal stakeholders for high-frequency daily email communications. Website Content Updates: Perform routine updates on the public website by adding webinars, events, and new content using established step-by-step checklists (no coding required). Social Media & Short-Form Video: Draft and schedule LinkedIn posts and assist with social-first short-form video creation, bringing an eye for compelling, engaging visual content. AI Tool Integration: Leverage internal AI tools (such as Claude) to assist with drafting copy, generating social posts, and streamlining repetitive tactical workflows, applying critical human review and editing prior to publishing. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a reliable liaison between internal teams, external agency partners, and executive stakeholders to keep projects moving forward smoothly. Qualifications Experience & Background: 0-2 years of hands-on marketing experience, including internships, campus media roles, or freelance work. An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field is preferred. Project Management Mindset: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple moving parts, prioritize tasks, and maintain momentum across shifting priorities. Communication & Writing: Strong writing and proofreading abilities with an understanding of (or interest in learning) a sophisticated B2B corporate tone for high-level executive audiences. Social & Video Intuition: Active familiarity with social platforms (especially LinkedIn) and a natural eye for short-form video content creation and storytelling. Tech Comfort & Adaptability: Resourceful mindset with a willingness to get into the back end of systems (such as website CMS tools or Monday.com/Asana) and experiment with new software or AI platforms. Key Soft Skills: High energy, coachable, highly detail-oriented, and excited to learn all aspects of marketing in a nimble B2B environment. Work Location & Hours: 100% Fully Remote; candidates must be aligned with and operate on Eastern Time (ET) working hours.
