Are you a hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering top-quality landscape maintenance? We’re looking for a dependable, motivated Maintenance Crew Leader to guide our team and ensure our properties look their best year-round.

What You’ll Do
Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew
Ensure quality workmanship on mowing, edging, pruning, and clean-ups
Train and mentor crew members
Maintain safety standards and equipment
Communicate with account managers and clients as needed
Complete daily job reports and schedules

What We’re Looking For
2+ years landscape maintenance experience commercial and residential
Prior leadership or crew lead, minimum 2 years experience preferred
Knowledge of plant identification and care, proper pruning, fertilization and equipment operation
Strong work ethic and reliability
Minimum 5 years valid CA driver’s license, with clean record
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish, both written and verbal skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Knowledge of irrigation troubleshooting, repair and ability to set most controllers
Horticultural practices (lawns, shrub and tree pruning fertilizing, crew procedures, etc)
Pest Identification and knowledge of solutions, including the use of IPM
Pesticide applicator's license a plus
Experience in training crew members
Soil and site analysis for plant health
Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of power tools
Irrigation repairs and troubleshooting (valves, laterals, wiring)
Ability to set most controllers including smart clocks
Leadership and good communication
Knowledge of good safety practices and Cal Osha laws
Problem solver and self supervising
Equipment care and maintenance
Smart phone and use of apps
Ability to drive a truck and trailer combination
