Radiology - CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT R Must-Have: Siemens and GE scanners (64 slice) Emergency Department experience Preparation and/or administration of contrast media Ability to perform 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction Knowledge of radiation safety Description:This position is for a CT Technologist specialized in Radiology and Cardiology.The shift will be a 4x10-hour day schedule from 06:30 to 17:00.The average daily census is 60 patients.Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the required fields.This role requires weekend coverage as needed.First-time applicants will not be accepted for this position.The technologist will be expected to float between departments as needed.On-call duty is required, with one night per week for emergency coverage.Experience with adult acute care and working in an ICU or ER setting is essential.Skills in handling specific exams, such as abdomen and chest imaging with and without contrast, are a must.Knowledge of PACS systems and experience with EPIC EMR are necessary for this role.Candidates will need to adhere to isolation precautions and demonstrate effective preparation and administration of contrast media.This position entails working with various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of the necessary treatments and procedures within the specialty. #J-18808-Ljbffr
