Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Location

Spokane, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Block scheduling required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in an LDRP setting at a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1–2 for laboring patients and 1:3–4 for postpartum couplets
• Participate in on-call requirements when unit census is low
• Float between sister units or nearby facilities as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery or LDRP experience
• NICU or LDRP experience required
• Ability to adhere to a block schedule and commit to all RTO requests upfront at time of submission
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines
• Clean background; facility does not accept Nursys or background hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic charting system
• Previous travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery or LDRP setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity acute care environments
