Job Title Management and Program Assistant Duties Help Major Duties: Communicates effectively with managers and employees at all levels. Prepares and presents findings and recommendations. Takes action and complete special reports or studies for Medical Center Leadership, VISN program managers, and VACO operations, as requested. Maintains strict confidentiality in all correspondence and communication. Utilizes a variety of data systems to monitor performance over time and identify key trends that could affect the performance in primary care within a Medical Center. Analyzes and evaluates, on a quantitative or qualitative basis, the effectiveness of primary care systems in meeting established goals and objectives. Actively implement identified improvement actions and/or plans and participates in organizational improvement work through station programs such as System Redesign. Applies a wide range of methods used to gather, analyze, and evaluate information concerning management processes. Completes assignments in terms of the overall purpose and objectives without specifics to techniques or methods used. Applies seasoned judgment and ingenuity to analyze the organization in light of the various guidelines and to establish or implement local usage which are established by the program office. Establishes and maintains logs showing the status of actions and correspondence. Makes decisions independently regarding appropriate methods to be followed in the resolution of individual, Service, and Medical Center needs and concerns. Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information. Other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Telework: This position may be authorized for ad hoc telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
