The Chicago Marriott O’Hare Hotel is looking for a full-time Dishwasher to join our awesome hotel team! Overview The Dishwasher will be responsible for ensuring sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the kitchen, while supporting the department and hotel needs to achieve the overall success of the operations. Responsibilities Follow and ensure proper compliance with safety & sanitation procedures Set up dish machine, break down trays, wash all types of dishware, glass, silver, pots, pans, etc. according to proper procedures Sort and store all clean dishware, glass, silver, pots, pans, etc. using proper procedures Follow sanitation procedures to ensure the dish machine is clean inside and out Communication with Executive Chef of any safety issues, or equipment failure Follow proper personal hygiene procedures Positive attitude while being a team player Perform other duties as requested by management Qualifications Must be willing to pitch-in and help coworkers as needed. Work duties may include exerting 50 pounds or more of force frequently or constantly by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects. Availability Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
