Exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful difference in elementary school students’ lives. This contract position is ideal for clinicians seeking school-based experience in a collaborative and inclusive educational setting, working with young learners from early fall through late June.

You’ll play a key role in supporting children’s communication development, collaborating with a supportive team of educators and specialists. The role offers full-time hours, providing the chance to develop relationships with students and staff while supporting individualized education goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or eligibility in New York
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcome, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience or significant interest in elementary school-aged populations
• Familiarity with IEPs and school-based services preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
• Develop targeted treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Track progress and document services in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
• Offer support and resources to staff and caregivers to encourage student success

This contract runs from September 8 to June 25, with a schedule of 35 hours per week. Compensation is highly competitive at a weekly pay rate of $50 per hour.
