Responsibilities Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating recreation programs, including observing resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement Participate in community planning, discharge planning, and development of recreation care plans and resident assessments Interview residents and family members to obtain recreation information and involve them in planning recreation programs Coordinate activities with other departments and keep abreast of economic conditions to recommend adjustments in recreation programs Assist in developing and implementing a quality assurance program for the recreation department and participate in facility surveys as necessary Ensure that all charted recreation progress notes are informative and descriptive of services provided and indicate resident response to services Arrange transportation for field trips and assist with in-room residents as needed Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, transfer, or move residents and equipment as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Magnolia Post Acute
