Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized intensive care nursing to stabilize and monitor critically ill patients. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver compassionate and effective patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs through thorough clinical evaluation.
• Administer medications, including ventilator management and IV drip titration.
• Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line, and arterial line insertions.
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system.
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings and manage complex hemodynamic parameters.
• Support new graduate nurses and contribute to a team-oriented critical care environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Exhibit proficiency in ventilator management, IV titration, and arterial line care.
• Maintain active RN licensure in the state of Tennessee.
• Ability to float to Med-Surg or ED during staffing needs.
