Lucid Behavioral Health LLC is seeking a Full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team to provide integrated mental health services to patients across Houston, Texas, and beyond. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a license in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Professional Counseling (LPC), or Social Work (LCSW) who is passionate about improving mental health outcomes for individuals facing both psychological and medical challenges.

Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to practice from the comfort of your home while still contributing to a collaborative care team dedicated to patient well-being. The full-time work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as required.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that evaluate the influence of medical conditions on patients' mental states.

• Collaborate with medical providers to design and implement integrated treatment plans that address psychiatric and medical needs concurrently.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches customized to meet the needs of each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, applying de-escalation techniques as necessary.

• Educate patients and their families on the interconnections between mental and physical health, fostering empowerment and self-management strategies.

• Document patient progress and maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal, ethical, and best practice standards.

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to discuss treatment strategies, patient progress, and care coordination.

• Stay informed about evolving best practices, research developments, and innovative methodologies in integrated mental health care.

The patients you will serve often grapple with co-occurring conditions, including chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders, which necessitate a nuanced approach to treatment. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
